Dinner with Mei Hua

Hihihi! Just back from a dinner with 梅花 and here's a quick update because I feel like blogging today. Hehehe. Last met this girl 3 months ago and there we were again. In just 3 months, this girl has changed into someone with a nightlife. Lol. Can't say I am envious anymore because I now actually feel old and get tired when it's nearing midnight! Especially on a worknight. /fail

Anyway! Just in time to satisfy my Lychee Tea cravings, we had dinner at Arteastiq X! This time at their newer outlet in Plaza Singapura. So much more conveniently located now... For me who is lazy to change the train line. :X

Won't say it's the best dinner place. The food portion for our main dishes was lacking and the taste was a little bit off. Too small a portion for the price paid and the food too salty! It's okay though, because we shared Sweet Potato Fries and I had my Lychee Tea!!!!!! ^^








This was it for me. 6 small pieces. The sweet potato rosti was kindda tasteless too. Salty, but tasteless.


HEHEHEHEHE. I really like their Lychee Tea beceause it's very nicely balanced and not too overly sweet.
But I found somewhere with Lychee Tea that's better. :X The cafe is just a little too difficult to get to. Meh.

Had a nice catchup session with my first lunch kakis in Maybank! :D
We had delicious Italian Food at Bruno's Pizzeria & Grill X that night and talked about...... :/ mostly work related. Lol.

Got someone to buy me these because I didn't manage to find them when I was there.
I really liked Tokyo Banana and White Lover's Chocolate Biscuits, but these are slightly nicer!
Hint of banana taste and a harder biscuit. I LIKE!!!

Dinner Date With 梅花

Finally met 梅花 earlier this evening for dinner.
The one who arranged a bouquet of roses and delivered to my office about 10 days ago! :D

Went Tiramisu Hero, and ordered their breakfast for dinner. xD
More options in the menu compared to the time I was there last year.

Caught up during dinner and went for a little walk before stopping by a pie shop for some dessert.

Got this Strawberry Lemon Meringue Pie.
Sweet and sour, it was very refreshing. A good end to our night. ^^

Pinks Roses

PINK ROSES FOR YOU, ANYONE??
I'm not really the kind of girl who'll get all excited and jumpy from receiving flowers, but I got a really pleasant surprise from a nice friend today halfway through work! :) We were suppose to meet, but Karena finally had some free time for dinner, so I chose to be a bitch and rescheduled this date. Because of the change of plans, this 梅花 decided to deliver the bouquet of flowers SHE ARRANGED to my office instead. So freaking touched. I cannot!

Of course, I felt even more horrible than I already was from rescheduling our date. ><

Nevertheless, this bouquet of flowers is the highlight of my 24th birthday! Because it's just... such a sweet gesture?! This is in fact, probably, my first time receiving flowers! Albeit from a girl, it's still felt really good? Lol. Especially since it was self-arranged?!

Got a shock when our security guard on duty called me up and told me to pick something from the guardhouse. I was definitely not expecting any parcels because I wasn't told I should be getting something...... When I arrive at the entrance, I saw the delivery guy with a bouquet of flowers! Couldn't believe my eyes at first and then I felt all...... weird inside. HAHAHA! Like "woah woah woah who the hell...."

It was a good kind of weird though. Fuzzy and weird. Hahahaha.

Thereafter, I was feeling all kinds of happy. Excitedly. Fuzzy. Teary. All kinds of happy!


I am so freaking blessed this life.

September's Snapshots!

Going through my blog entries this month, it seems like September had been more than just a roller coaster ride for me...... It even look as if I'm emotionally unstable. LOL. I think I am, but I guess I'm still trying to get used to work. :/


Then again, I suppose I am still okay at work considering I still have the morning mood to take selfies. Lol.

ps: Today's meltdown was just temporary. At least, I came back home feeling less wronged.....? I don't know.


Anyhow, visual entries are supposed to be less long-winded so I shall leave that ranting for another day.

Masking ued to be my daily routine, but I realize too much mask makes my complexion even worse. Irony. Lol.

It has gotten a lot lesser these days though~

One of those September days I met up with 梅花 for dinner @ Bugis.


Had BBQ Buffet @ Rocku Yakiniku and it was freaking delicious?! The beef were really tender, and some actually melts in your mouth?! For the price, the food was totally totally worthwhile! But.......... I got sick of chewing all the beef because 梅花 don't really eat beef. LOL. She also had some desserts after dinner. My favourites combined into one. Soft serve with Red Bean Taiyaki! ^^

The exact scene I was looking at when I first came for an interview two months ago.
Oh how time flies.

The carbonara was a disappointment. I don't remember it tasted that..... bad. :(
I'm happy they have expanded their menu though. Can try other stuffs next. :D




Cakes for the birthday girls (Weishan and Jolene).
Treated them to Hot Tomato dinner and had a nice time roaming around Nex before Weishan left for home and we continued the night with Gary, Lance and Eunice. It was a coincidence with everyone in the same place. It was a nice hangout. :)
