River Safari!

^^ Had a great time with Kesslyn on Saturday!!
We got free tickets to River Safari (courtesy of my mum's workplace!) and spent the entire day together. :D


It was my mother's workplace 'Family Day'.
My sister was suppose to join us but her work is a bitch. :X
So, I end up asking my "cousin" along for this trip.


We agreed to have her known as my elder cousin (表姐) because that's the only time I'll get to act young. -,- Lol. When she updated her social media accounts with a "With my 表妹 for a day trip to see panda!", there's this person who went "表姐吧！u look younger then her lol"

Walao?! Need to be so serious not??? I was hurt. :( Even though it's the truth.

ANYWAY!



OH OH OH!!! Coincidentally, her real cousin is also in the same camp as my mother. They both got a shock when they saw each other there. Hahahah. The world is so small.












I realise this is one of my favourite sea creature (after jellyfishes), because they look quite cute!


The ones we have are so huge!




Barely started going around and my parents are sitting already. =,=




And a random pyramid appeared. Lol.


I am very far from the sucker(?) fish because I really think it is super disgusting?! LOL.
Even if there's a glass in-between. I... just can't.

Kesslyn bought them. Because she's a sucker for such cute stuffs.


The bun turn out to taste good (according to her, I didn't try).
This bun with yellow eyes has chocolate custard! She prefers the redbean filling, just like many other people.
Oh. She packed another 8 Panda buns home to share with her family. Yes, 8!!! LOL!!!


The cappuccino was nice too (according to my Dad)!!
Funny how she bought a drink she doesn't drink. Lol. Lucky my dad was there.. Else, I have no idea who would finish that big cup of coffee. Lol.

Sad faces because the pandas were hiding indoors and we thought we won't get to see them.
BUT!!! We decide to just stay put in the place and wait till they come out. Lol.
It was a good decision because many people left and the place was slightly less crowded.

Have seen Kai Kai before. HERE! Their only difference is their nose! Jia Jia has a pink nose!

This bird marks the end to our trip. We didn't go on the cruise and was glad we didn't. I heard people talk about how it just went round for a little while. Looking around the place, it didn't look like there's anything to view when people go on the cruise anyway. =,=

After River Safari, we headed for some lunch and shopping at Sembawang area before going by my Uncles' place to collect some Rice Dumpling. MY GRANDMA MAKES THE BEST!!! :D My mother is an asshole though. Mentioning how we won't get to eat it in a few years time. =,=

The 15th Day!! ♥

Today's the 15th day of the Lunar New Year...

It's Lantern Festival (first full moon of the new year) and some people would be celebrating this day with sweet rice balls!! &While many others enjoy this tradition, the 15th of the Lunar New Year has another meaning for my family. :)

My Lunar Birthday! ^^

So happen that it's merely 5 days away from my "actual" birthday.. Coolz. I wonder when will these calendars collide again!!

Anywayz, it was a simple yet really lovely Sunday.

Woke up after a night of essay writing for breakfast before we proceeded to my mothers' surprise for me! They insisted that I have blindfolds throughout the journey. :O I kept whining and trying my best to peep and guess. lol. Turns out, the family went to the Zoo!!! HEHEHE.

I was smiling from ear to ear when I finally take off the blindfold! Lol.

Kiddy hor. I'm 22 but still young at heart okay! ;)

Must be wondering why my mum chose the Zoo as my surprise, right?

She had this idea because I'd wanted to visit the Zoo together with the family.. Isn't it a nice family thing to do? Lol. Even though I've been there just two years ago............ I believe every experience differs with different people!

It was!

ps: Best Zoo trip was with my favourite people!

Though it wasn't really a full visit (we were there for less than 4 hours!!! very waste my mothers' money leh! but~), the short trip was still very fun! I think the last time we went as a family was........... at least 15 years back!

We're all so grown up/old now..... :( lol.

Anyhow! I'm glad I brought my camera with zoom lens ah. kekeke.

We guessed this gorgeous White Tiger's name is "Omar".
He's quite cool. Pacing back and forth many many many times (really many times!). We presume is for us visitors to take a good look and take nice pictures of him. So kind. x3

The decorations was really.... Chinese-ish/China-ish!

THEY PAMPER THE PANDAS A LOT!!!
They were in an air-conditioned place.
The exhibit was only allowed for 15 minutes viewing per batch.
Visitors are advised not to make noises.
We cannot take flash photography.
There was even soft music playing in the background.
It is also one of the biggest exhibit for the Pandas.
Lastly, it cost a separate $5 just to see them.............. sleep!

WA!!!!

But my mother said it's because we are only given 10 years to exhibit them. And hopefully, these two pandas would mate and produce more pandas so we could finally own local breed pandas. Tsktsktsk.

When we were there, only Kai Kai was lazing around. Jia Jia was apparently still in her dent. How are they suppose to mate when one is outside and the other keeps staying inside?! My actual thoughts. Lol.

So, this Zoo visit is somewhat a birthday gift from my mother. SO.LOVED. ♥
