Countdown in KL!

2017 started on a sick note for me. I hope it doesn’t signify that I’ll be falling sick often this year? Superstitious much.

But other than that, the end to 2016 and start in 2017 was pretty chill. For the first time, the family celebrated and counted down to the new year together! Ended the year with our second trip to KL and kick-started 2017 with our annual KL trip. Lol.



Shopped so much, ate as much! Hehe. Just wanted to make it rhyme though we did shop and eat a lot. Not many pictures this year though... Is it something to do with age? I'm not as enthusiastic to snap snap snap. :/ Also, I'm really bummed we didn't get to sing karaoke this time because my throat was being a total bitch! Time was tight too... SOBS!

Good trip nonetheless, and HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Starting 2016 With Fireworks!

IT IS 2016 ♥ !!!
Can't remember when was the last time I watched fireworks for countdown, but last night was pretty................ crowded. LOL.

Spent the last bits of 2015 with Jolene, Haniza and Chiulee.

What a different combo?
Indeed..

But it was nice. Different can sometimes be refreshing. It was also the first time Haniza saw a different side of me... Or so she said. Hahaha. I am a lot crazier and lame with the clique. Haniza kindda makes me more toned down. I never knew.. Until last night. Lol. Fun fact about myself to end a great year. ;)

ANYWAY!
Met up in town and had dinner at a Thai fusion restaurant in Orchard Central; Som Tam X. Dinner started out a little awkward. Food was good, I'm not that big a fan of Thai cuisine, but the food was good. Obviously cannot remember what we'd ordered. But I know we had a variety of items to share.. There was salad! Pardon the memory, girl here blogging this in 2017. :X

Back to the awkwardness. Though Chiulee knows Haniza beforehand (thanks to a coincidental diving trip!), and though all my friends pretty much know all my friends (just.. who they are, not anything beyond that), it was still a little... weird at first. But nothing time cannot change!


The shot with Jolene in the middle....... I have no idea why, but it looks as if Chiulee and I were taking a shot with a celebrity? Lol.


There weren't much to do after dinner so we just roamed around the mall, around town and waited for time to pass. Chiulee left early because... I can't remember why, but she left early. So it was just Jolene, Haniza and myself, for the rest of the year and the start of the year. ;)

Headed down to Marina Bay Sands when time was near and found an.... okay spot for fireworks viewing.

It was a beautiful sight, seeing the sky light-up as the clock ticks off to the new year... Somehow feels like it is signifying that the year would be beautiful too.... It's important how something ends, but it's also as important how something starts! 2015 was a really good year. Simple start, very fulfilling journey and a great end. A lot of fun. And I hope, 2016 would be the same... If not better.

I would want especially, to become a better person this year. :)

I always say this, but I have to repeat it again: It's amazing how the year just changes in a split second. First you're in 2015, and once that second hand needle on the clock go pass midnight... poof! It's 2016.

ps: We took a car back home together, and as the girls left to end the day, I continued the night with my dearest friend. It's very interesting what we share. Or at least to me. I am always curious about other people's business, I always want to know what happened, but with her...... I didn't need that. Just knowing she was hurting and needed someone with her pained me enough. I didn't need any details. I could fully understand the saying "You will tell me when you are ready" when it's with her.. For some people, maybe not so. Or maybe, I'm just growing up to be more sensible and less demanding on wanting information. I also felt really.... honored and touched that she opened up that bit to me. It's like, another level of the friendship and trust... I always doubt my place in people's heart, because I think I'm never good enough.. But when people open up to me on levels they don't usually would, it surprises me and touches my heart. Sometimes making me think that I'm not that bad afterall.... :') Just noting this down because it's in my memory. I'm always grateful for the people I have in life, and this friendship is one of the most important one. ♥

Simple Countdown To 2015!

IT'S 2015 ALREADY BITCHES!!!!!
Was just yesterday publishing my end-of-year entry and here's my new year entry already. LOL.

Every year, I find it amazing how 'next year' is just a split second away. Really. Literally one second later, the year increases by 1 and we return all the way back to January. Just..... tsk.

Anyway, just a quick entry to start off the new year on a good note.

Countdown this year was simple. I didn't want to stay at home and wanted to head out instead. Only a few people invited me to join them this year. Jiaxuan, to watch fireworks with her boyfriend, Kesslyn and Dickson and Haniza to have dinner and chill at her place. I had planned to go for both until I finished dinner and got too lazy. :x Managed to avoid the crazy crowd in town, and settled for a simple cozy time with the Azman sisters. :)


They both prepared dinner, and everything was so delicious!!!


Mushroom cream pasta (from scratch!!!!), spicy chicken wings and some salad!
I enjoyed the pasta so much that they gave me a second serving. hahaha. /fats


Both of us are doing many things for the first time together.
I am extremely happy to be spending so much more time together now. hehe.



After dinner, we sat around to watch 2 movies before switching to the local channel to countdown.Simple yet really enjoyable. And at least I got to miss the crowd and madness in town.








To more time together in 2015!! :D

Because Weishan's still ill, went for countdown and fireworks with pretty JoJo & cutecute Yaping! ♥

Even though it's a brand new year, there are just some things that will never change, will it? Lol. &Yeah, here I am courting death (somewhat - I gotta be up at 9+ &it's 7:20 already!) laying on concrete floor shivering in cold and blogging about countdown............

Well, it all started with my latest addiction to the game "Candy Crush Saga". I really shouldn't have started on it man! Although I was pretty dogged with really sore feet, I started playing the game while on the way home, and continued when I got home on my floor (yes again) till I was left with no life! :(( Then, I went to bathe.............

But I was still thinking about the game, so I downloaded it into my mothers' phone and started from Level 1 in my parents room. I was there for an hour. My father even got a shock when he randomly woke up and saw me at a corner of their room. LOL! I must have looked spooky with the phone being the only light source. xD

And then, I came back to my room (yes, lost all lives in my mothers' phone too... sobs) Switched on my laptop to pay my bills and gone I was~~~~~~~

As always, I got distracted by my Google Reader with all the articles and slowly started watching some performances from MBC's Music Festival/Countdown.

Okay fine, I watched only SHINee (twice of both performance hehehehehe), 2NE1 and Big Bang.

-OMG SUGAR IS SNORING RIGHT NOW. SO CUTE!!!!-Lucky I'd already paid my bills though. xD And then because I was still very very awake, I thought I might as well just update my blog. lol. Better to use the time to blog than to waste it on sleeping right Sleeping is for the weak!!!!

I'm feeling very drained now though. Zz

So yes, that's why I'm here typing all that random nonsense about why I'm still awake at this godly hour to blog when I could have just started on the entry already!!!!!!! Lol.



Okay okay. 

It was a simple countdown because everyone else had their own plans leaving just us four. Decided to make do with the simplest plan this time: Dinner + Fireworks!

Going around MBS!

We went out to the area near the Floating Platform at around 10+? It was still pretty empty. Waited for 2 whole hours before 8minutes of pretty fireworks finally came on!! There wasn't much countdown spirit though, sad to say... We went "5! 4! ......." *bom! bom!* Yeah, fireworks were out already. lol.

The area was kindda frustrating when the 2013 was nearing. People started trying to come really close to other people and all. I think it's rather stupid though - fireworks are shot up to the skies right? So why are people trying to squeeze to the front?! Lol. Especially annoying when people comes in late and then try to go to the front. Tsktsk.

There was also a group of children who were really really annoying + irritating + plain noisy !!!! Yaping was on the verge of screaming at them every once in a while. lol.

When fireworks were over, we waited for the crowd to scatter a bit before heading back to MBS. But, MBS was pretty much flooded with people trying to head back home. The crowd was so big! There were police officers sending batches to the train station. I guess they were afraid accidents might happen with everyone trying to go home, duh~ lol.

We got on the second train that came. FREAKING BAD CHOICE!!! Was so badly sandwiched, it felt pretty disgusting. lol. It was so so so squeezy that anyone who loses their balance and fall, won't be falling at all. It was damn compact!

Oh ya, there was only Yaping and I. Jolene headed off to join her University friends for some clubbing.

No idea why but we had to alight at Tai Seng. Missed one train because it was packed but was told the next two trains were not for passengers too. WHAT THE HELL. Lol. The moment I heard that, "Eh, Yaping, lets' just cab la." xD

Okay, I have no idea why I'm going all detailed uh.. . . . . . . . . . . . .
