Is it weird that I get all happy and excited when there is an opportunity to hang out with colleagues after work hours? Lol. I am really glad I have come to have colleagues I can now call friends. Work is a lot more fun when it's not just all serious and professional. HEH.

We spend so much of our time at work... I think it is a really sweet deal if you end up clicking so well with your colleagues that you become friends! Like going to school, most of your classmates are good friends and going to school was almost a breeze! I've always wanted to hangout with people I work with since Maybank days, but most of them have their own families and are too busy to hangout.......................



Hmmm.

I... I think I need to know more people out of my circle and workplace. Hurrr.

A Week of Birthday!

Birthdays are especially special when they are spent with people who matters in your life, and when you have people who goes the extra mile to make it special for you. :)

Christmas with Phoenix

Last night was craaaaazzzzy!! First official party with my new company, and I now know what real partying is like. LOL. It was crazy, but really fun and extremely memorable! Embarrassing for some though =X

I also got to try one of the nicest cocktails (shots) ever (called... B54), and even had like.... 5 of that?! It didn't taste awful and was so easy to gulp it down in one shot that I went crazy, entering into a rather intoxicated state. Intense, but a good kindda intense. HEHE. Of course, I wasn't drunk.. Just high. Very high. Happy high.

I ALSO FINALLY WENT TO A CLUB.... FINALLY!!
A PROPER CLUBBING EXPERIENCE.
It was insanely crowded and only fun when I was high. LOL. When I sober up like.... 30 minutes after entering the club, I was too conscious to do anything fun. :( But I didn't wanna be high a second time the same night, so I end up just watching people dance like no one's watching (Like I did when I was high too, hoping I didn't look clumsy or stupid now) and then later saw some of us entering the disgustingly drunken state (not nice and rather irresponsible).

I actually didn't get to take much pictures during the main party itself because a few of us were helping to man the registration table. The venue was rather small for the crowd that was coming in, so I kindda... didn't bother going around mingling. Still isn't close to many people. Sobs.

There's our PMO lead behind emcee-ing the night; cannot remember if she was doing the lucky draw already. But she sang too! :) Entertainment was simple last night, someone danced and sing and we had nice food before they started with the lucky draw. Obviously, I won nothing, but I got closer to some colleagues! Good enough.

PS: Some quick thoughts about drunk people...... It was really not a pleasant experience. I mean, everyone is out together to have fun, but we should all know how to be in control? One of us was legit hammered that walking was not possible.. Almost not conscious and just slept at a corner. Kindda spoilt the fun for the rest of us because we had to look after each other? Though, I have to say.... It would be something we'll tease and joke about for a long long time.... Lol. We also saw like, girls in dresses just laying down on the floor. Like.... tsktsk. Seriously disgusted. What's the fun in being dead drunk and having to nurse a hangover the next day? Okay fine, I shall stop nagging like an old lady. It was still a really fun night.

Today's one of those days we have our regular meeting.
Today's 3 days before our team lead's birthday.
Today's the day I thought "Why not surprise our lead then?"
Today's not special, but we made it so. 🤭

Needless to say, today's a happy day for our lead. HEHE.

The surprise was made easy because of our regular meeting.
Just had to gather earlier before the meeting's start time and wait for our lead to come in.

Happy Days At Work

It's late, but I'm still working on my damn minutes because I am so freaking slow and easily distracted to complete them on time........ And now I digress from my main blogging purpose tonight because I got distracted again by my own train of thoughts. -.-

So....

While I was summarizing my meeting notes, making sense of things and trying to minute the discussion in my own words, I suddenly had a thought...

"I've been happy. I've been happy at work. . ."

It's not exactly a random thought flashing tonight. I've been having such quick thoughts lately, but tonight... I just want to pen type out my thoughts because..... You know, this is definitely more interesting than my minutes even if it means I am going to be sleeping later than planned.

SOOOOOO going to be dead at work tomorrow.

And here I am digressing from the main point again. Tsk.
It's been a while since I've done this typing 'diarrhea'... And I miss it. Just nonsense typing whatever comes into my mind because I'm having too much thoughts running around in my head, and... mostly because I'm just bored. Lol! I wish I could quickly complete my blog entries for 2015, get over with all that, and start on current affairs updates!

Anyway, back to the point of this entry. For real.

I've been happy.

It's been almost 6 months since my start at the new place (trust me, it feels like a year have passed), but it's only lately that I've been laughing a lot more at work amidst the mountain load of work. Laughter is a good medicine to stress. A very good medicine. Especially for someone who enjoys laughing like me. HA.HA.HA. Really.. It's good.

All the laughing these days is probably because of this one colleague. She's so fun and easy to talk to, and we're so similar yet different. Birthdays a day different and age 12 years apart. We share so many similar thoughts and such. Lunch time have been a lot more enjoyable; we tease each other so much and just feel... comfortable and relaxed with each other. It's good. I don't think I've felt this much comfort with people I've worked with before.. And so quickly. I think it's just almost one month for this colleague of mine.

This level of comfort. It's scary though, because when you get used to things and like how things are, any form of change could shake things up... Which may not necessarily be a good thing.

On a closing note, because it's really late and I have to get back to my minutes... Ermagawwwd, the minutes. T_T

I really hope this happy phase continues for a longer time....

And I hope one day, I'll be good and quick enough to complete my minutes - For now, I'll just dream of the days I never have to do this damn thing ever. For now. :'(
