I'm multitasking - paying attention, jotting down model answers from the board, uploading pictures and blogging! ;)
Had a great lunch with Serene, Yanling, Lance, Weishan and Gary at Kovan's HongKong Cafe yesterday and a hell lotsa fun time with Weishan, Lance, Gary, Yanling, Jolene and Soohou at Clarke Quay! :)
Didn't blog yesterday because I was dogged, had to complete some house chores, a little of my assignments and mood was horrible. :D
We did boating as a form of belated Birthday Celebration for YANLING!

It was obvious she was upset about the poor attendance but I guess we've made it up for her; BECAUSE IT WAS FUN, FUN, FUN! :)
Met up with Yanling at the nearby bus stop around my house. Instead of taking the bus straight to Kovan, we sat there and chatted for about 45minutes. We had random topics. :)
Though we delayed the time, we were still the earliest. ^^ So, we went in first and got our seats. Not long after, Serene and Gary came. &&&& We ordered our lunch! :]
Oh ya! There was this middle aged manager who came to take our order. When we were almost done with our orders, leaving Serene with her choice of drinks, he was like smirking and commenting: "Your friend look very sweet and pretty hor?" while eyeing Serene! LOL. Could see she was freaked out. HAHA.
Halfway through eating, Lance came along. He almost let known our plan luh! :(:(:( But can't blame him, I didn't even mention it would be a surprise. LOL!
He was like: "Ah? So little people going to take boat uh?"
Then Yanling faced him asking about what boat he was talking about while the rest of us were staring at him. LOL! Ohh well. Good thing Yanling ain't fast enough to actually know our whole plan. =x
Weishan came along too.

After lunch, Serene parted for home after seeing Jolene and Soohou. It was sad Serene couldn't join us because she had to go for a dinner celebration for Mother's Day.

Actually, we were kindda late when we reached Clarke Quay. LOL! What more, we didn't have a cake! Zzz Though Yanling says she doesn't want one; we had to get one! Else, there wouldn't be this Birthday atmosphere, right? [:
Thus, after we reached Clarke Quay- Jolene, Soohou, Lance, Gary and Yanling went searching for a cake while Weishan and I was rushing to the boat registration booth. It was almost terrible! Zzz
Initially, I thought we could pay the fee by NETS thus, we left for the booth with not much money in hand. We were almost running okay! However, it turns out to be sooooooooo wrong. Zzz So, we asked for the nearest ATM Machine thrice! Zzz
First was the guy in the booth. We didn't really pay attention to him so we thought he was refering to the HSBC one. Then, we asked the security guard and he said it was *something* *something* Cheers. When we reached Cheers we didn't went inside and assumed there wasn't any! Zzz So, we went all the way down to MRT to try our luck! But, to no avail. Then, we asked someone else I can't remember who and realise it is actually INSIDE Cheers! =.=
So, I withdrew money and hurried to the booth again. And again, we were almost running; sweating like we've been in some Suana for about 20 minutes. Zzz

When Weishan and I finally decide to give up rushing around the place to look for a bakery store, we called Gary up to bring Yanling over; BLIND-FOLDING her. ;] Zzz
Thanks Gary for trying to blindfold Yanling though her face was slightly wet. =x HAHA!
Though we weren't able to get a big cake, we have to thank Gary again for rushing to the opposite site to get a small cake from TCC! :)
While Gary was MIA around us, we had a difficult time bringing Yanling down to the boat. Because Soohou and Lance were crapping about preparing to smash her face with a cake, some whipping cream and even throwing her down to dirty water. As usual, she believed; thus, started screaming and making her body stiff not allowing us to move her much. LOL!
Thanks Gary uh!
He commented: "I was sweating like a pig." LOL! I didn't know pigs sweat a lot. LOL!
The cake's nice! :) And I'm glad Yanling loves it!
She's not a pastry fan and usually try to get away from eating any.

When we were going back, we saw this couple having their wedding photo shoot! We congratulate them by singing the marriage tune we're all familiar with! HAHAH. The groom was really enthu too. :)

It was a nice experience aye~ Anyone who needs a break from the hectic life we're experiencing can try taking the River Cruise with a few friends! :)
Not very expensive either; Unless you're booking a charter boat. ;]

When we left the boat, Jolene suddenly had this Ice-Cream craving. Thus, I suggested to head over to some nice place to have our last chill out. :)
