boring..

okay. life today is normal. at least, there's nothing much that has surprised me. =]

today, a saturday. however, i still have to force my soul up early at 0645 to attend a national software competition at singapore polytechnic. therefore, i had to reach school at around 0745. sighs. the competition is plain boring. had to suffer with one person who i really cannot tolerate. well, this competition involves the three of us. we were suppose to answer 197 questions in 20 minutes. we were like: "what the hell?!?"hahs. obviously, we only have to try our best to answer as many as possible. we didn't get anything out of the competition other than experiencing the pain side of waiting, waiting, waiting.. and more waiting. learnt how to be patient and awake no matter how tired and sleepy you felt. but, i don't think i really need that because now, the part where we sit is actually really hurting. hehs. but, i feel much better after standing. hahas.

anyway, back to the person i simply cannot.. really tried to but seriously cannot tolerate.. he's just too.. not the type i can tolerate at all. well, reached school the earliest and waited for the teacher-in-charge. well, he came in with a cab and asked the driver to wait for us. i'm so forgetful. i forgot to tell her that we are meeting in school. she reached singapore poly at 0745.. lols. anyway, during the cab ride, had a chat with him and told myself to try and accept his ignorance and to tolerate more of his craps. i succeeded! for the first few hours.

the quiz was tough. real tough but the prizes can make people wanna drool (like some food that make one does) and wanna kill ourselves (because they are SO GOOD!!!).. let's just skip to the prize presentation. well, obviously we didn't get to the finals so we didn't get a chance to compete with the other teams. it's okay though, there were thirty two schools taking part and all six schools who got into the finals were very good school (a way to console me maybe?).. lols. anyway, the emcee (two malay ladies) were seriously sweet ( as in their voice).. guess what? we were actually there to witness the national infocomm scholarship award ceremoy.

it was damn long lorhs! sian wanna die down there le. so tiring. sit untill rot sia. lols. anyway, there were three competitions going on.. they are: "IT QUIZ" (the one i took part) some "lego" thingy ( i can't remember) and one "algorithm" competition. =]

okay, all finalist gets a tumbdrive (i don't know how much data it holds), a medal, a certificate and some gift or something each. well, for the champion, the get all of the above inclduing a PSP EACH. isn't it great? at least for boys that it. but for me, i can maybe sell it. hahas. and get the money to buy some other things. hahas. let's get back.. err.. during the whole ceremony, i had to tolerate him. unfortunately, he sat beside me. told him to change sit but he refuse to. no choice. he kept talking. talking about the prize that the champions receive. politely, i sort of blew him off nine-tenth of the whole ceremony i said: "can i just finish this whole ceremony quietly?"

he shut and i felt so much better with both side of my ears CLEARED with noise. then, went back. sat beside him again. SIANS! good thing we took cab all along so it's much faster.. don't have to toture myself so much.

well, i guess i'll end here.. wanna get some sleep. hahs.
