Love.

Can't possibly make myself say I feel nothing when the news about the earthquake that hit Sichuan, about a week ago, kept showing different scenes on TV. Especially when I watch the news. :(:(:(

Last night's report really touched my heart;
Regarding a mother who protected her baby until the very end. And of course, she passed away. When she was found, she was in a position of a human-like table; Having all her limbs on the ground, back facing upwards and the baby under her.
Good news, the baby was sleeping safe and sound unhurt under his/her noble mother. The touching thing about this incident is a message left by the mother: "Dear baby. If you survive this disaster, remember; Mummy Loves You." It was in Chinese, of course.

There are of course many other stories about this disaster:
How some babies would never ever be able to see the world.
How some had to exchange their limbs for their life.
How some survived but were severely injured.

I guess this incident is yet another chapter of why we should treasure our lives and loved ones. We never know what would happen the next second.

It's devastating to learn about the cruel truth of mother nature: You will never know what would be next. Though predictions can be made, they are still- predictions. Who can really confirm about a upcoming disaster? Maybe animals can warn people; but who knows which disaster would strike?

So, how fragile life really is?
