Family Weekend Out!

It has been a great weekend out with the family. Has been a while since we just hung-out together.
I've becoming to love staying at home a little too much. ~~
Going out also mean 💸💸💸 Man, what has adulthood turn me into!!!

Anyway, before seeing Haniza off yesterday, the family went to Suntec for a movie. Or rather, 3/4 of the family went for a movie.

Dad and his hot drink because he's such a weakling in the cold. :p

"Ghostbusters" with Dad and Sister.
Mother would much rather go shopping than sit in the theater for the movie together. BOO~ Her loss.

I've always liked the Ghostbusters song! "Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!!"
Cannot remember if I have ever watched the movie or series though; probably when I was a kid? Lol.

2016's "Ghostbusters" was good. Entertaining, very funny, and I love Melissa McCarthy! Also like how it's a group of lady ghostbusters too; GO GIRL POWER! Lol.

Off to the airport for me after the movie!

Slept super late, but woke up for a great Sunday out nonetheless.

Us @ Sentosa.

It's 2018 now (LOL) and I really cannot remember why we suddenly decide to check out the Aquarium. Not really something the family does together... We're more of a shopping and eating family. But anyhow!

That must have been my............. 4th time already!!! And third time that very same year.

First time with BI0802 friends.
Second time for NPCONCC's 6th Anniversary.
Third time for my birthday.

Insane, right?

Despite being my 4th time, I still enjoyed the visit. How easily entertained am I! Lol.

To be fair, I've been to the Aquarium with so many different crowd, each experience was different anyway.

I should totally come up with a tag just for the aquarium though, right? Lol.

-DONE-

A N Y W A Y~

I believe it was the family's first time there.. Despite so, it wasn't a very long visit. As usual.
Any trip with the family is always always shorter than it should be. Parents are lazy af. :X

Us infront of the hugeass tank with fishes going round and round.

I remember losing sight of the parents after an hour or 2, and continuing the aquarium with my sister. Guess where the parents were? Seated at the restaurant munching on fries. TSK.

Then we headed off to Putien for a quick dinner before visiting my grandma at my uncles' place. I also went over to Nab's place for a short Hari Raya gathering (pictures here). HEHE.

Snapchat filters had us laughing till our tummy hurt!!
Dad would look super cute with hudeass eyes though. Hahaha.

Fishes For My Birthday!

TURNING 25 🎂
Part 4 : S.E.A. Aquarium

The title I came up with for this entry sounds so off.
But oh wells. FISH VIEWING ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!
ps: Ain't gonna change the title because I'm lame like that!

Hmmm. No, wait.
It's JELLYFISHES VIEWING ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Why am I so lame today!?

I love jellyfishes.. It can be therapeutic just staring at them plop around the area. And so many of them makes it a really nice sight! I always end up stuck at the jellyfish area the longest. Other fishes just come off a little more boring than jellyfishes! I mean, they look pretty and all, but they are not special. They are not special like these amazing jellyfishes. You can't even see their brains! They are just these flimsy jelly creatures.

ps: Just to be sure, I googled. JELLYFISHES HAVE NO BRAINS!! Duh. They only have nerves. THE NERVES!!!

Me today, lame. Lame lame.

Anyway!

Today's a nice day with Haniza. HEHE. I didn't know what to do for birthday (again), but we thought it was a great idea to be a tourists on our birthdays! We are checking out the trickeye museum for Haniza's birthday next! :D Also contributing to our economy by spending on our own attractions. Feels good doing something good. HAHA.

Really, why I am so lame today?!

Didn't take many pictures today as we explored the aquarium.
So it's just these few.

Haniza hasn't been to the aquarium here before, but this is my........ third time already? No point linking my past entries since THE PHOTOS ARE GONE ANYWAY!!! But yeah.

First time with BI0802 friends.
Second time for NPCONCC's 6th Anniversary.
HEHE.
Still worth to note.
I should have a label for the aquarium!

After the really relaxing afternoon being a tourist, we settled down at 'The Wine Company' X along Sentosa Boardwalk. Can always trust Haniza to bring me around the atas places we have here.
(Mostly for wine/alcohol hahahahha)

The food we had!
Not that great a picture though. So yes, we had pizza, fries and a pasta!

The meal was nice with a very accompanying view. We were seated outside, but it wasn't very warm - Coming from me who is burning, it was indeed not warm at all.

Lol.

Anyway, It was a very calming view, watching people pass, doing their thing, and watching the sun slowly set into the horizon across. There was even a dance class going on along the boardwalk! Surprisingly entertaining.

Another dish we had : Teo Chew Porridge with frogmeat!

ps: What the heck, this shot look so much nicer than actual wine-accompanying food. Lol. Haniza and her new phone!

It was after a certain time that Haniza ordered this bowl of Teo Chew porridge. IT IS SUCH A WEIRD COMBINATION WITH WINE!! LOL. But it was surprisingly good! Very very tasty. Hahahah. But I'm not a big fan of porridge, so Haniza had it. They also have other local delicacies and I bet it would be of standard; judging from how they made a plain bowl of porridge flavourful enough.

We also shared bottles of wine.

Yes, bottles. Not just glasses. I believe we finished 3 bottles.
Or maybe 2. A white and a red.
I was so high by the time we ended the night.

Okay fine.
It was a moderate high. Not so high. 🙄

I still can't appreciate the taste of wine. But I drink them anyway. It's less taxing on the tummy, at least. And you don't pee as much as when you drink beer. Which is good.

And that was how I spent the day after my birthday:
With a good friend, watching fishes, eating good food, drinking good (I think) wine and feeling the itch from my sunburn. LOL.

What did I say?
DON'T THESE FLIMSY CREATURES LOOK CUTE?!
These are so short, it's so cute!
&No, this is not a shot upsize down, these jellyfishes were swimming like that!

Check out how red I am today!
It is starting to itch now.. Not a good sign.

&Now, I rest my head.

Goodnight! Work tomorrow. Boohoo.

6 Years &Counting! ♥

1232_zpsd35ded91
The Clique is turning 6 next weeeeeeek! :D
&To celebrate this very special day; we randomly got together for a poolside-BBQ 6 years ago and eventually became a clique over the years....................................................................

We spent the day visiting the S.E.A Aquarium and having Thai Style Steamboat for dinner before walking around and just chilling in Clarke Quay.

123_zps91552d8b
123i_zpsce7ee196
This is probably our very first proper celebration!! I don't really remember celebrating most of our anniversaries; though we've had dinner celebrations.......................... twice(?) over the years. :/ Is it?

Last year was the year that made me decide we should do something good this year though; It was our 5th but there was only Lance Weishan Yaping Jolene and I having lonely short dinner at NEX. lol.

Spending half a decade together and I didn't even have anything to blog! :(
(I think I did but I can't find it. tsk.)

I don't know if it's weird that I'm an enthusiast when it comes to such trivia events/things ut, if we don't create meaning for things, won't life be too dead and boring? Maybe it's weird, but I really enjoy celebrating days that are supposedly special....

ANYWAYZ

S.E.A. Aquarium~~~
Yes, I was just there a month ago. But this time, I'm with my favourite people! ♥

The place may be the same.
The things may be the same.
But I was with different people and definitely had different kind of fun! ^^

So, we were suppose to meet 1:30pm at Vivo City but I was late (my bad), and our schedule got delayed by a bit. >< Just a bit! Some of them were shopping so it wasn't entirely my fault a *coughcough*. I would say it's lucky that our schedule got delayed though! xD

According to my previous visit, I estimated at least 2 hours of Aquarium visiting. However, we ended our visit just a little less than 2 hours and even had spare time to quick shop before dinner! :O

Oh ya! Not many sea creature pictures this time! I only snapped a few that I didn't manage too see (wth?!) during my last visit.

&We proceeded to the pre-aquariu museum(?)
Previously, we spent about 45 minutes walking through the pre-aquarium exhibits. This time, we were done in 15. LOL!!!!!!

Oh ya! Though it was a Saturday, I presume most local families are busy doing Chinese New Year preparations that the crowd was at least 50% lesser than my previous visit. :O Very much easier and faster to move around and view the fishes!

Photobucket
hehehehehehehehe.

Photobucket

Happy Jolene is happy!!! ^^

Photobucket

Photobucket
These people...............

Photobucket
Wanted to go for this but gave up the idea after understanding the entire thing.

Saw a black fish but it swan so fast. :( So here's Weishan as a replica. xD
Later, we realize the cute black first is called "Whitecheek Tang".
What an irony. lol.

Photobucket

Due to the lighting, Soohou suggested us to tilt our head up so we'll avoid casting shadows on our faces....
Girls doing a bad example~~~

Photobucket
Lance doing the best example.
WHAT IS WITH GARY'S FACE! lol

Photobucket
Okay, sea creatures appearing in this entry are those I didn't manage to see last time. Wth right?
Here's a black seahorse! I was wondering why there wasn't seahorse during my last visit.
Must have missed it!

Photobucket
Lanc looking creatures. lol.
Quite gross. The creatures, not Lance. lol

Photobucket
This creature just chilling~

So, after our Aquarium visit, we walked to board the shuttle bus baaaaack to Vivo City. Some of them went shopping while the rest of us bough drinks and chilled a bit at MacDonalds~

Photobucket
Thereafter, we trained down to Clarke Quay and finally met up with our pretty pretty soon-to-be-celebrity Karena for part two - dinner!!!! :D

Loving the pork belly! :3
Dinner was very good!!

Even though it may seem simple, it tasted really nice~ From the meat, to the soup! Some of the girls drank at least a bowl of soup! :O Yanling drank the most. LOL. I remember only taking two spoonful though, because I think the flavour of the soup comes from the oil that drips down from our meat. >&lt &Yes, I'm right!

And for the price we paid, it was really damn worth it........... In fact, it was so cheap that we were shocked!
(Because we expected at least $20+ Or maybe we ordered too little lol)

For the sets (one tray = one set) they cost $43 individually. And because we didn't think the sets were enough for 8 hungry souls, we ordered additionally meat! $14 worth of meat! Each of us also ordered drinks. Lance had two cokes!

With all that food ordered, our bill totaled up to $131.50 which means each of us only had to pay $16.50! Cheap or what! Lol.

I was later told that the other table (Weishan Gary Jolene Soohou) were hiding the meat and spamming for themselves lo!!! Assholes. LOL Never mind, forgiven and love y'all the same :3
Photobucket

After dinner! Walked to som Haato & Co. or Ice Cream!

Photobucket
A few nice tunnel shots before we got yelled at for being too noisy. :( lol.

You know how some people say it is love when you can just sit around doing absolutely nothing with someone and still feel happy?
Well, I can sit with these people and do absolutely nothing and still feel happy. ^^
(Of course, we don't do that often la)
