Movie Review.

Over the weekends, I've watched 2 movies;
Money No Enough 2 and The Mummy 3.
Here's what I think of the movies.
Don't worry, I won't be telling you anything about the story.

Pretty much a thought provoking movie;
about elderly and how we should treat them when they age and are down with some unfortunate yet inevitable bad luck with their health.

As usual, Jack Neo did not fail to bring in a few characteristic of a typical Singaporean into his movie. & maybe, a little about the realistic yet cold-blooded side of some human kinds. It's pretty saddening to think and feel for those elderly who are being abandoned. :(:(:(:(:(:(
Well, this side of the story has left 3 out of the 5 of us, who watched the movie, in tears. Despite the little tear jerking storyline, I would give this movie a 2.5/5 stars.

If it was not for the mismatched story line and title, I would have willingly and generously gave 4/5 starts. Like many other reviews, the only thing I dislike & maybe detest about this movie is the totally off storyline. Zzz I would rather the title be "Kinship", "Mother" or at least something else but not "Money no Enough".
Yes, it does relate a little to the things one would do with life when you have no money. But no, the movie focuses more on elderly. In this case movie, it's Mother. Another thing, I feel that some computer effects are pretty bad that it made some parts look like some animation(cartoon). But, it doesn't really affect me/movie much.

One of the songs is really irritating, the main reason that made me tear real hard. LOL! It's about mother. ;)
Although the 126 minutes was a little dreary, unlike many other Jack Neo films, I still like it. :D

I wasn't exactly interested in "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" because of past experience. Shall not go into it. But overall, the movie was not bad.


A 3.5/5stars from me.
It was pretty interesting and a tad funny at some scenes. Many said it was a little exaggerating/over because there were dragons and stuff; but I guess it was because there were curse and many stuff going on. ;)

The computer effects are pretty good. It's somehow nice yet a little gross; seeing skeletons/bones or rather stones fighting each other. :D HAHA. But I have to admit that the story flows quite smoothly. Jet Li is really suitable for the emperor role. He looked stern and really really dominating. I was sort of grabbed into the movie initially because I didn't know what I was thinking about. =x Maybe it was because of the initial intense happenings in the movie that made me hooked into it. LOL!

If you're looking for some pretty good movie, this can be up to it. But, don't expect it to be realistic because it's nothing near it. Main actor is as cute and silly though. LOL!

Realised the review for "Money No Enough 2" is so much longer than the latter. But anyway, I'm not being biased or whatsoever. LOL! Just felt more for "Money No Enough 2". ;)
